Parents are a huge part of the success of Educate Together schools. In fact, if it weren’t for our parents, our school wouldn’t exist!

We have an excellent parents’ association. This group of parents help out with fundraising and awareness campaigns, and devote their spare time to meeting and creating wonderful events for the school community.  Our Parents Association organise brilliant fun days and fundraisers for the school. Every year our parents have run several amazing events – for example, Cuisine Nights, Cake Sale, Festive Dress up Days, Easter Egg Hunts, Crazy Hair Days, they have organised fundraisers with Transmitter and much more. All parents are welcome to attend meetings to express their ideas/volunteer, a text message issues to all parents inviting them to attend when a meeting is scheduled.

Our current Parents Association Committee is:

Chairperson: Hazelmarie Byrne

Secretary: Tammy Mangan

Treasure: Louise Howard

PR/Events: Pamela Grogan

Parent Liaison: Elena Esteban Moral

PA Representative female: Jane Haffernan

PA Representative Male: Norayr Nagapetyan

What is the Parents’ Association

The Parents’ Association provides an additional voice to the on-going betterment of the non-curricular activities at the school, alongside those of the staff and the student council.  It gives all parents a chance to offer ideas for improvements for all children in the school and to create a partnership between home and school. Parents are invited to attend coffee morning/meetings to discuss ideas for fundraisers/events, a text message inviting parents will issue before the meetings.

If you’d like to contact the Parents’ Association about how we can work for you, upcoming events, classes or to volunteer then please do so at the address below.  We’d love to hear from you.
